China News Service, Guangzhou, August 18 (Guo Jun, Chen Jing) On August 18, the "Huaxianglong" rescue and salvage engineering vessel newly built by the Guangzhou Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport was officially listed. The ship is the first pile-inserting rescue and salvage engineering ship designed and manufactured by my country, marking that the rapid emergency salvage in the South China Sea has added heavier equipment, and China's rescue and salvage equipment construction has reached a new level.

"Huaxianglong" was developed and designed by China Shipbuilding 708 and built by Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard. The ship is 130 meters in length, 42 meters in width, 9 meters in depth, 3,600 nautical miles in endurance, fully electric drive, DP-2 dynamic positioning capability, and designed operating water depth of 55 meters, which can sail in unlimited navigation areas. The ship has a crew capacity of 220 people. The bow has a living building and a helicopter landing platform. The helicopter platform has a diameter of 22 meters and can dock large helicopters.

It is reported that this ship type is second to none in the world and has three main characteristics:

-Marine operations are like walking on flat ground. The ship’s four straight and slender "big legs" are 90 meters high and are equipped with four sets of hydraulic bolt-type double-action ring beam lifting systems and pile flushing systems. The maximum lifting capacity of a single pile is 5600 tons. After the "Huaxianglong" relies on its DP2 to accurately locate at sea, it can stand firmly on the offshore operating point with its pile legs, and the operating water depth (including tidal range) can reach 50 meters. Compared with conventional engineering ships, it not only saves the time required for relocation and positioning by removing the site to avoid wind, but also can be applied to harsh sea areas where floating ships cannot operate.

——Advanced power and environmental protection. Offshore engineering platforms usually have no self-propelled capability. But the "Huayanglong" power configuration can be called "luxury". The ship adopts a fully electric drive azimuth rudder propeller propulsion method, with three 3800kW azimuth main thrusters in the stern, and three bow thrusters of about 2000kW in the bow. The ship’s power station consists of 5 3200kWe, 2 1600kWe main generators, and 1 600kWe emergency generator set. After the exhaust gas of the diesel engine of the main generator set is processed by the SCR system, it can realize "all-weather" low-carbon and green environmental protection operations.

——Strong working ability. The deck area of the ship is about 2,800 square meters, and two pile cranes are installed on the port side of the stern. The lifting capacity is 1,200 tons/350 tons, and the variable load of the ship is not less than 5,000 tons. The ship has rescue and salvage functions such as lifting, transportation, storage and supply, and is a well-deserved all-rounder for offshore work.

"Huaxianglong" is the first ship of this type of ship. It aims at offshore emergency clearing and salvage operations. It combines the advanced design concepts of jack-up platforms, crane vessels and wind power installation vessels at home and abroad. , Operation efficiency, overall integration, maneuverability, operational stability and survivability are excellent indicators. The successful design and construction of the ship will significantly enhance China's emergency rescue and salvage capabilities and improve rescue and salvage efficiency. (Finish)
