Ajman Medical District begins today doing "Corona" checks for teachers and administrators

In order to achieve the vision of our wise leadership to provide a safe environment for students and to take the necessary precautions to combat Coronavirus (Covid 19), and in coordination between the Ajman Medical and Educational regions, the Ajman Medical District is today conducting "Corona" checks for the administrative and teaching bodies of all public and private schools in all its stages in addition to higher education in the Emirate Ajman, Director of the Ajman Medical District Hamad Tarim Al Shamsi said that this initiative is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, in addition to the policy of the Ministry of Health and Prevention The community is working to make the educational field a healthy and safe environment for students and teachers, especially since the school year comes under new circumstances represented in the spread of Corona virus, so we have coordinated with the Ajman Educational Zone to implement precautionary and preventive measures to make the school environment safe and immune to Corona virus, where the plan is implemented. According to a schedule and in stages that start today and continue until the end of the school year.  

The Director of the Ajman Medical District added, based on that coordination, the Ajman Medical District, through the Preventive Medicine Department, begins to implement the first step, which is to conduct checks on the Corona virus for all administrative and teaching bodies in all public and private schools as well as universities, both within the city of Ajman as well as its affiliated areas. Starting today, Tuesday, August 18th, the necessary examinations will be made for teachers and administrators at the Al Bayt Mitwahid Center in Al Hamidiyah in Ajman, and the same checks will also be made in the Muzaira'a and Manama Health Center, where the checks will start from nine in the morning until five in the afternoon, from today until On Thursday of this week, special places and enough medical teams were provided to conduct examinations in the aforementioned places.  

Hamad Al Shamsi went on to say: As for the second step of this plan, it targets all private and government education students, from schools to universities, as the Primary Health Care Department has prepared a work plan that starts next Monday, August 24, where health teams will make checks for students in schools. All schools in Ajman and its affiliated areas will be covered in Mazra'a and Manama, as we aim through these checks to ensure the safety of our students, students and enable them to embark on education with complete peace and success of the school year, in addition to providing parents with reassurance about the health of their children, with our assurance. We ask all teachers, administrators and parents to communicate with the Ajman Medical District through the School Health Department and school nurses when there is any doubt or observation related to the safety of their children.  

Hamad Al Shamsi, Director of Ajman Medical, indicated that the third and important step that the Ministry of Health and Prevention focuses on is the interest in spreading health education and implementing awareness and educational programs in schools from school health and its executive staff in schools, which are doctors and nurses whose work begins with the beginning of the academic year and continues until its end. As this year, intensive awareness programs were developed that focus primarily on awareness and health precautions against Corona disease, in addition to other health programs, which include giving vaccinations scheduled for some stages, holding health lectures and seminars, as well as monitoring the safety of the school environment and following up on school canteens, food provided to students and others. One of the tasks assigned to the nursing apparatus in schools.  

Hamad Al Shamsi stressed that all these efforts work to provide health care for students, which is the primary responsibility of the Ministry of Health, Community Protection and Medical Areas, and of course the positive participation of school administrations, parents and the rest of community institutions, through the concertedness of all these efforts we will create a better future for our children.
