“President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made changes to the personal composition of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. The head of state signed the corresponding decree on August 17, ”the message says.

It is clarified that ex-head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Valery Evdokimov, former Deputy Prime Minister Vadim Prystaiko and ex-head of the National Bank Yakov Smoliy were excluded from the council.

"According to the document, the NSDC includes the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Valeriy Kondratyuk, the new head of the National Bank Kirill Shevchenko, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishina and Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleg Urusky," in the text.

Earlier, Zelensky appointed the first President of Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk, as the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the contact group on resolving the conflict in Donbass.
