Train disruptions after timber trains tore down the overhead contact line in Härnösand

According to the rescue service, about 400 meters of overhead line has been laid down in central Härnösand.

The rescue service has cordoned off and ensured that the lines are without power while waiting for the Swedish Transport Administration to arrive to repair the line.

This probably means a longer interruption in train traffic past Härnösand.

The Swedish Transport Administration announces shortly after 08 o'clock that there is a stop in the train traffic between Kramfors and Timrå due to a torn contact line.

“It affects train traffic between Sundsvall and Umeå in both directions. Forecast when it can be repaired is during the evening ", writes the Swedish Transport Administration.
