Not all students studying at Jönköping University will receive campus tuition. In the first instance, first-semester students will be taught on site. This also applies to study groups that need to do laboratory or practical elements, but also study groups that must do examinations that, according to Jönköping University, are not suitable for conducting digitally.

- We try to inform all students to take their personal responsibility and to keep their distance, this is not just about classrooms, corridors and other public spaces, says Robert Gunnarsson, vice rector for education at Jönköping University.

50 people are taught

A maximum of 50 students will be allowed to be in a classroom. A limit that applies provided that it is possible to keep a sufficient distance in a room. Students who are not scheduled are encouraged by the university not to be on campus.

Digital distance education will continue to be implemented. General information will be recorded and made available digitally.

More students

Now during the corona pandemic, 700 more students were admitted to the first sample compared to last year.

- Of course we would have liked to get everyone here who came to us, we have increased our number of admissions and are very happy about it, says Robert Gunnarsson.
