The man who is from Västervik is convicted of eight crimes against three children. He is convicted of, among other things, aggravated rape of a child, aggravated sexual abuse of a child, attempted rape of a child, and sexual abuse of a child.
What the children have told him that he has done to them has great similarities. The district court therefore considers that their stories provide strong support for each other.
Familiar with the kidsThe man has been in the children's vicinity and one of the children has been subjected to repeated abuse.
He has also for a long time downloaded and collected child pornography and is also convicted of a serious child pornography offense. 55,728 photos and 11 movies were found on his computer. 33 of the pictures and one of the films are judged as gross child pornography.
The man is sentenced to nine years in prison. He will also pay damages to the three children of just over SEK 300,000.
