In the municipality's parks there are many trees where the fruit is usually destroyed in the autumn because few know that you can pick it:
- So we have now produced this map where you can get help to find the fruit, says Johan Levander landscape engineer in Norrköping.
Similar projects have been found elsewhere in Sweden, not least in Gothenburg, where the municipality recommends twelve orchards with a total of 260 trees.
Norrköping offers much more fruit than that. Johan Levander says that they currently have almost 600 trees on the map, but that there can be almost twice as many when the inventory is completed.
