He added that "the digital economy contributed 4.3% to the GDP of the UAE last year, and it will have a greater share in the coming years," stressing that the digital economy sector represents one of the most important enablers for digitizing services, businesses, markets and major sectors in the UAE and supporting its leadership in the region and the world. .

The Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Omar Sultan Al Olama stated that future work plans for the digital economy sector will focus on developing various aspects related to the financial cooperation economy, the free work economy, digital markets, the participatory economy, the digital content economy, and the data and information economy.

The scholars referred to the "remote work" file that was attached to the new structure of the post-Covid-19 government system, as part of the artificial intelligence file.
