Parking your car in the street will be more expensive in the yellow and red zones. - F. Elsner / 20 Minutes

The summer break is over! In Nantes, car parking becomes chargeable again in the yellow zone from this Monday. Like every summer, it was free from July 14 to August 15 inclusive. The yellow zone represents more than 10,000 on-street spaces, distributed around the city center.

The whole island of Nantes is concerned, but also the banks of the Erdre, the Saint-Donatien, Mellinet, Viarme and Bellamy districts. Parking in the yellow zone costs 1.50 euros per hour but the 12h-14h period is not chargeable.

The red zone extends to the heart of the city. It is more expensive (2.30 euros per hour) and remained chargeable all summer.
