According to the Japanese Embassy in Belarus, a Japanese man in his twenties living in the capital Minsk on the 12th of this month was detained by the authorities in Belarus.

The man is currently in a detention center in Minsk, and the Japanese embassy says it is gathering information on why the man was detained.
