As he noted at a rally on Independence Square in Minsk, the core of the protesters in the so-called chains of protest is financed from abroad. 

According to the minister, boys are paid 30 Belarusian rubles, and girls - 60.

Earlier, Karaev claimed responsibility for the injuries of random people at the protests and apologized.

On August 12, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, against the backdrop of protests, said that he had instructed the security officials "not to touch the journalists," except in cases where they stand "between violators and the forces of law and order."
