This event is one of the series of activities of the 8th Strait Youth Festival. Music experts and enthusiasts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait witnessed the youthful demeanor and musical charm of teenagers on both sides of the Taiwan Strait through the "cloud" show.

  Although the players are separated from each other, they can't stop the enthusiasm for participating. Since the registration for this event started on May 30, more than 400 programs and more than 1,000 young students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait have participated in the cloud exhibition competition through online video selection. After more than 70 days of intense planning, young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait competed fiercely, and finally more than 40 programs were selected for the Cloud Show.

  As it is currently in a special period for the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, this event is carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control. All players' performance videos are recorded in a safe environment and selected to enter the performance after being reviewed by experts from both sides of the strait.

Taiwanese tenor and chorus conductor Wu Hongzhang evaluated the contestants who entered the show as "tomorrow stars"; Taiwan's Tainan University of the Arts piano professor wrote in the book that individual pianists "have the qualities of a performer."

  Kang Yudan, a well-known chorus conductor in Fujian Province, said in his evaluation of the chorus performance that cross-strait music exchange activities can promote the continuous improvement of youth school chorus standards.
