Private schools that implement hybrid learning in the Northern Emirates have required students to undergo an examination for "Covid-19" 96 hours before the start of the new school year as a condition for re-registration and admission to classrooms, as part of precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of Corona virus, and to preserve the safety of students and educational and administrative staff .

Private schools sent text messages through groups on WhatsApp to the students' families, of which Emirates Today obtained a copy, informing them of the importance of conducting the examination as a condition for their parents ’access to the school on August 30th, and confirming that no student will be accepted without the examination.

The registration official at a private school that applies the American and British curricula in Ajman said that the negative test result is one of the basic conditions for receiving teachers and accepting students in the classroom, indicating that the school will implement hybrid education, as students will be divided into two groups (A) and (B), The two groups should alternate between school and home to attend classes.

He pointed out that the schools did not specify the places to conduct the examinations, and that students and their families are free to conduct it in any health center or hospital, provided that the examination is approved by the competent authorities in the country, and he continued that the results of the examination should be presented on the first day of students ’attendance.

The official of admission and registration at a private school in the Emirate of Sharjah that applies the American curriculum stated that the school required parents to conduct an examination for all students 96 hours before the start of the first school day on August 30, in order to accept their children if the result was negative in the classrooms within the system Hybrid education, pointing out that students' families will be notified of approved health centers to conduct a "Covid-19" examination in order to facilitate procedures for them.

She explained that the school is continuously cooperating with the students' families and communicating with them through "WhatsApp" groups, to put them in the latest health decisions taken in the school, and the instructions received from the Ministry of Education related to the health and safety of students.

She added that a meeting will be organized next week remotely for all students' families, in order to respond to their inquiries about places to conduct the examination, and how to deliver the results of the examination when students return to school.

The director of a private school in Ras Al Khaimah confirmed that all students wishing to continue education in the classroom have been informed of a Corona examination in order to re-admit them to the school. He added that students wishing to continue learning “remotely” have been excluded from the examination, and they will be obliged. In the event that the school decides to gradually return to studies for all students, later in accordance with health developments and instructions issued by the competent authorities.

He is not allowed to board the bus without her, pointing out that children under six years of age will not be subjected to a temperature test or wearing a muzzle on the bus.
