In light of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic in a striking way in the cities of the West Bank, and in particular the city of Hebron, the International Charitable Activities Authority in the United Arab Emirates has been active, to assume upon it the task of strengthening measures to confront the Corona virus, and securing all the needs and precautionary measures for Palestinians, especially in quarantine centers, whether In hospitals or at home.
This organized role was met in the Pandemic Push Campaign project within the Corona emergency relief provided by the UAE Global Charitable Activities Authority to the Palestinians in the cities of the West Bank, which includes sterilizing the streets, providing daily foodstuffs to citizens in quarantine centers, and in homes, and providing citizens with all sterilization materials.
The lens of "Emirates Today" documented these efforts that are still being made to reach all Palestinian towns in the West Bank cities, monitoring the daily tours carried out by the international charitable work staff, to provide for all the citizens' needs.
Ibrahim Rashid, the director of the Emirates Global Charitable Activities Office in Palestine, says, “The Charitable Works Authority provides the needs of citizens in Hebron and West Bank cities, in light of measures to confront Corona, as this campaign is not the first, and it will not be the last.”
According to Rashid, the campaign to push the epidemic includes the provision of personal hygiene materials to all areas, household and spatial sterilization materials, and the provision of daily meals and food parcels to the Zakat Committee of the City of Hebron and the Hebron Governorate to be delivered to citizens inside the home quarantine centers.
For his part, the Governor of Hebron Governorate, Major General Jibril Al-Bakri, says, “This urgent intervention by the Charitable Activities Authority is very important, and requires continuing to provide the necessary needs for citizens at the level of Hebron Governorate, its villages and towns.
