Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) claimed his fourth victory in six races this season, following the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, and extended his lead at the top of the World Championship.

Starting from pole position and never worried, Hamilton was ahead of the Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and his Finnish teammate Valtteri Bottas, in the other Mercedes, whom Verstappen had managed to overtake at the start.

The point of the best lap goes to Bottas.

The Racing Points of Canadian Lance Stroll and Mexican Sergio Pérez finished just off the podium.

Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr (McLaren), German Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), Thai Alexander Albon (Red Bull), French Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri) and Briton Lando Norris (McLaren) complete the top 10.

The other two French, Esteban Ocon (Renault), 13th, and Romain Grosjean (Haas), 19th and last, are classified out of points.

Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) was forced to retire shortly after halfway due to an electrical problem. His engine suddenly stopped when he passed over a vibrator.
