Extending the time period granted to violators by 3 months and exempting from fines

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship announced the extension of the exemption for "violators of the Law on Entry and Residence of Foreigners", beneficiaries of the honor of His Highness the President of the State, for a further period of three months, and exempting them from all fines.

The authority said that this generous initiative by the wise leadership is added to the series of national initiatives launched by the UAE and through which it has made attention to the human element a priority in all its initiatives and decisions. Therefore, the state sought to develop laws and decisions that are in the interest of the individual and through which the exceptional circumstances are taken into account. The world faces it today in light of the current challenge to confront Covid-19.

Major General Saeed Rakan Al Rashidi, Director General of Foreigners Affairs and Ports at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, stated that the extension starts from 8/8/2020 to 11/17/2020 when the violation occurred before 1/3/2020 and includes exemption from all fines incurred by them as long as they leave the country .

The Director General of Foreigners Affairs and Ports stated that the reward includes all violators of the Law on Entry and Residence of Foreigners, as the restrictions listed against them will be paid without stamping the deprivation on the condition that they leave the country.

He added that visa holders wishing to leave from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras al-Khaimah airports must arrive 6 hours before the flight.

As for those wishing to leave the country through Dubai Airport, they must visit the deportation center at the Civil Aviation Security Police near Terminal 2 48 hours before the flight.

Al-Rashidi explained that the authority has taken many exceptional measures for this blessing, as the violator will have to complete his procedures in only three steps, including securing the passport, securing the ticket, and arriving before the date of the trip with a sufficient time.

An operation room was equipped to answer all inquiries, as the number 800453 was assigned every day of the week from 8 in the morning until 10 in the evening, except on holidays.

His Excellency called on all parties and groups concerned to benefit from the blessing.

The authority affirmed that this decision will contribute positively to enhancing levels of security and safety in the UAE.
