The Russian Ministry of Health said, "It has completed the production of the first dose of the Corona 19 vaccine developed by the National Center for Infectious Diseases and Microorganisms."

However, it has not been confirmed how much the primary production amount is.

Earlier, Russia officially registered its COVID-19 vaccine for the first time in the world.

The vaccine was developed with the support of a sovereign wealth fund, and was named'Sputnik V'after the satellite launched by the former Soviet Union in 957.

However, it did not go through the'Phase 3 trial', which is the last stage of the clinical trial, and the first and second phase tests were also conducted with only 38 people, raising concerns about safety.

Nevertheless, Russia said it plans to produce vaccines and conduct phase 3 trials in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico, as well as 2,000 nationals.
