His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent a message of thanks to the first line of defense, expressing his feeling of pride for what they have provided in the face of the global health pandemic.
His Highness said in a tweet on “Twitter”, after meeting with the Control and Control Center team to combat Coronavirus, at its headquarters at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, yesterday, that the work team is distinguished and its performance is heroic. He added, "Thank you, our first line of defense ... I am proud of your performance."
His Highness affirmed, during his meeting with the team, that the UAE has excelled in managing the "Covid-19" pandemic in all its dimensions, and presented a unique experience in overcoming challenges and confronting difficulties, the basis of which is persistence and determination, and the firm belief that despair has no place among us, and was distinguished by a work approach that relied on solidarity. Sincere efforts, foremost among which are the valiant contributions of the medical staff, for the state to demonstrate a qualitative ability to deal with one of the most difficult situations that humanity has faced in its modern history in a proactive manner based on sound scientific planning, so that this exceptional situation has turned into an opportunity to learn, gain experiences, develop, and make achievements on Various ascends.
