15 August 2020 Ferragosto and Covid: stop at beach parties and close to nightclubs. In view of mid-August, the regions have signed ordinances to try to limit the gatherings. On discos and dance clubs "prudence and the maximum rigor applied by the regions, including the use of masks imposed in every place where gatherings are created", applauds the Minister for Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia.

Calabria, in agreement with the government, has closed the premises while in Sicily the governor Musumeci has imposed a limited number. In Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Sardinia you can dance, but only two meters away. New ordinance also in Veneto, as in Emilia Romagna; no more than half of the maximum capacity can enter the premises and masks will be mandatory even during the dance. In Basilicata dance activities have been suspended, both outdoors and indoors, while in Piedmont they are still allowed.

In contrast, the mayor of Riccione, Renata Tosi: "Closing is madness. Checks must be done but there is no risk here", and criticizes the President of the Bonaccini Region for his latest order for a new tightening on discos after the resumption of coronavirus infections.

To avoid gatherings, on the Lazio coast the municipalities of Anzio and Ladispoli have ordered a ban on lighting bonfires on the beach. Forbidden beaches also in Agropoli, Modica and Scicli and anti-gathering controls in Civitanova Marche and Porto Recanati.

In Naples, the carabinieri of the group for the protection of labor and the staff of the territorial labor inspectorate not only check the tourists places of the "nightlife", in the discos, in the bathing establishments but also the safety of the workers, counteracting employment " in black".
