The “Cloud Computing and Internet of Things” (IOT) program was launched in partnership with the leading cloud computing platform “Amazon Web Services” (AWS), and “3D Printing Program” in cooperation with the global leader in the field of the Internet of Things (Signify). Lighting and building automation, in an important step that reflects the international confidence that the world's technology giants place on the Emirates Association for the Gifted.
The two new programs are very important because they are a qualitative addition to the "citizen programmer", which represents the fruitful partnership between the "Emirates Gifted Association" and "Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University" to prepare the elite of promising talents to enter strongly in the midst of competition globally. The effective partnership between two of the elite global technology companies opens new horizons for the advancement of the program, which has succeeded for four years in graduating and qualifying 400 students to engage strongly in programming, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, thus strengthening its leadership as the first national initiative of its kind in terms of qualification An elite group of young patriotic energies capable of excellence in the programming and technological fields.

The “Cloud Computing and Internet of Things” program, which will last for three weeks, focuses on providing talented students in high schools with the basics of the Internet of things enabled in cloud computing, in addition to enabling them to master the scientific, engineering and technological skills necessary to enhance the ability to innovate and build the future, by making use of the services of Amazon Web Services platform, including cloud services and the Internet of things, which will be used to implement IoT solutions that help society adapt to the rapid technological developments in the UAE, according to the ambitious national visions.
The program has been specially designed according to a methodology based on providing education and training completely digitally, whereby the affiliates have the opportunity to learn from distance and via the Internet at the speed, time and place convenient for them, in addition to participating in a series of virtual classrooms under the supervision of a group of experts and trainers. Practical training is of great interest within the framework of the program, where the agenda is punctuated by digital training offers, courses, videos and worksheets, in addition to direct access to the best scientific and knowledge resources related to how to implement simple IoT solutions, which culminates in the final graduation project.
The importance of 3D printing
The second program, entitled "3D Printing", focuses on introducing the participants to the basics, concepts and best practices related to 3D printing at the entry level. The program includes courses, videos, learning opportunities and interactive exercises specially designed by Signify to highlight the importance of 3D printing, with a focus on its applications in the world of business and lighting technology. The program includes four virtual sessions that are held under the supervision of a specialized team from "Signify Training", to be concluded with the final project, which is evaluated by specialized trainers.
