- Quarantine in UK -

London has imposed since this Saturday a quarantine of fourteen days on travelers returning from France, where the epidemic is progressing. The decision also concerns travelers from the Netherlands, Monaco and Malta. Paris threatened London with a "reciprocity measure".

- Wearing an extended mask in Paris -

The mask, already compulsory in certain streets of Paris, is now compulsory in entire districts of the French capital, including a large part of the center, the Latin Quarter and the Champs-Elysées.

The prefect also banned gatherings of more than 10 people if the barrier gestures are not guaranteed.

- More than 760,000 dead -

But in proportion to the population, excluding micro-states, it is in Belgium that mortality is highest (856 deaths per million inhabitants), ahead of Peru (784), Spain (612), the Kingdom of United (609), Italy (583), and Sweden (573).

- Mask in Danish transport -

Masks will be mandatory on public transport in Denmark from August 22, the government said, as the country experiences a slight recovery in the epidemic.

Until now, wearing a mask was recommended in rush hour transport, but mandatory in six municipalities, including the country's second city, Aarhus, where the circulation of the virus is more important.

- Seoul tightens restrictions -
