According to the prefecture, this is to prevent "a festive gathering of a musical nature and which can bring together several thousand participants", likely to be organized during the weekend, but for which no prior declaration has been filed.
Two orders were taken
Faced with the risks of disturbing public order and the health risks associated with the Covid-19 epidemic, any gathering of the teknival or rave party type is prohibited throughout the department between August 14 and August 17, warns a first arrested.
At the same time, a second decree prohibited the movement of heavy goods vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes carrying musical equipment, in particular sound systems, amplifiers, sound systems.
Similar measures in the Loiret
The prefect of Loiret has also taken similar measures, in force between early Friday evening until Tuesday, with the same objective of preventing the possible holding of a rave party in the department.
In Lozère last weekend, in the midst of an epidemic, a giant rave party had gathered several thousand people in the Cévennes natural park, provoking the indignation of some inhabitants.
