Bison Futé announced Friday that traffic would be "difficult", even "very difficult" throughout the weekend of August 15, classified orange in the sense of returns at national level and red around the Mediterranean and in Auvergne-Rhône- Alps. "Returns to the north will take precedence over departures to coastal regions. The majority of traffic flows will be from the south of the country to the north," summarizes the road information organization in its press release.

Bison Futé advises to leave or cross Ile-de-France before 8 a.m.

Throughout the weekend, "traffic will be dense and very often difficult on the Mediterranean arc between Italy and Spain", in both directions, on the A8, A7, A54 and A9 motorways. In the direction of the departures, the difficulties will concentrate on Saturday in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and around the Mediterranean with a day classified red. Bison Futé advises to leave or cross Ile-de-France before 8 am. In terms of returns, Friday and Saturday are classified as red on the Mediterranean coast, while on Sunday, the biggest slowdowns are expected in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
