The funeral of Abdou Kadri, the guide who accompanied the humanitarian workers of the NGO Acted, is being held this Friday . The ceremony will be sober and discreet in his native village of Kouré , in the presence of the mayor of the town and the head of the canton, according to information from RFI.
The one who chaired the Association of Giraffe Guides of Kouré was due to join his last home earlier in the week, but this has been postponed for the purposes of the investigation.
A last tribute
There will be no national tribute, but the Nigerien ministers of tourism and the environment made a point of making the trip to Kouré a few days ago, to present condolences to Abdou Kadri's family and meet his fellow park guides.
For the same reasons, the funeral of driver Garba Souley, scheduled for the day after his assassination, was also delayed, which did not prevent the inhabitants of his village of Goudel from paying their respects to his relatives at the beginning of the year. week.
Regarding the mortal remains of the six French people , they will land at Orly airport, probably before 4 p.m. Paris time. It is at this time that the ceremony in tribute to the missing humanitarians, chaired by Prime Minister Jean Castex and in the presence of their families, must take place.
