The Administrative Court, which allowed the hunt to continue pending its decision, has now rejected the appeals against the hunt, reports P4 Jönköping.

It was after several wolf attacks on sheep, in Ulricehamn, Tranemo, Gnosjö and Gislaved municipalities, during the summer that it was decided on protection hunting. Following appeals from several organizations, the administrative court first chose to stop the hunt, but changed after a new attack when six sheep were killed.

The appeals are now rejected with reference to, among other things, the risk of new attacks.

SVT Nyheter Väst has previously told about Erik Björling and Louise Berner in Ulricehamn who lost 24 sheep in a wolf attack earlier this summer.
