The Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendation is to keep a distance, considering how drip infection is spread. Something that can be difficult in some situations when you are outdoors, especially when you are on the beach.

- We see now when it has been nice weather at the end of the summer, that there are a lot of people in some places. It is beaches and other things that are associated with the summer, says Fredric Jonsson who is emergency director at the County Administrative Board in Jönköping County.

Should one refrain from visiting bathing places and beaches?

- It's okay to be on the beach but we need to keep our distance. We are still in the middle of the pandemic and we do not want to have a situation this autumn with local outbreaks and a second wave, he says.
