The Beautiful Widow

Shweikar enrolled in French schools, and when she was sixteen years old, she married a wealthy young man named "Hassan Nafi", from whom she gave birth to her only daughter, "Menna Allah", and after one year of marriage, the husband contracted a serious illness, and he died as a result after two years of marriage, To become the little widow at the age of eighteen.

At the age of twenty, she was managing the property of her late husband, continuing to complete her studies, and raising a little girl, but nevertheless she never lost her passion for life, her unimaginable indulgence, and sadness and mourning could not eliminate her vitality, so she deserved the ideal mother award from the Sporting Club .

A family connection with the film director, Hassan Reda, was the reason for her entry into the world of art. She participated in three plays, and then she played her first movie role in the movie "My Only Love" in 1960.

Then the acting offers followed her, until she was nominated to play the female lead in front of Fouad Al-Mohandes in the play "The Technical Secretary", and from here began the journey of the romantic comedian duo, Al-Muhandis and Shweikar, until her request to marry, and then their life continued together for twenty years, in which they achieved many artistic successes , And dozens of films, plays, and reviews that still bear a unique imprint in the world of theatrical performance.

In 1980, the marriage relationship between Fouad al-Muhandis and Shweikar ended, after the second marriage of the famous artist caused the overthrow of his first marriage, so that the engineer did not deny that his marriage to Shweikar was a reason for breaking his wife’s heart and her long illness.

Despite his intense love for Shwikar and his constant jealousy for her, this did not affect the value of his first wife in his life, as he said, "I preferred to take care of her until her death, and I do not think I was able to heal the wound that I caused."

Apart from Fouad Al-Muhandis, Shwikar acted, with roles in which she distinguished her acting abilities, the most important of which are the films "The Wife 13", "The Open Door" and "The Revenge Circle", and her last roles were as the mother of the hero in the movie "Talk to Me Thank you".

Despite her keen interest in art and her love for acting, at the end of her life she did not like to reconsider what she presented, although she is not classified as among the actresses who presented inappropriate roles, where she says, "I do not like to watch my work, and when I find a play or a movie I change the station."

She never cried while talking about a person, just as she cried about her mother, and she did not grieve the absence of anything from her life, just as she was sad about the absence of her "check" shoes according to her description. Old age forced her to wear medical shoes, and to abandon high heels, as it was valuable in her life Some people.

Shweikar suffered for years from aging diseases, but she woke up to excruciating pain after suffering a gallbladder explosion - according to Egyptian websites - where she was transferred to receive treatment in a hospital in 6th of October City, until she passed away at the age of 85.
