According to the first elements of the anti-terrorism investigation into the assassination of French humanitarian workers in Niger, the attack "seems to have been premeditated" with the objective of "targeting Westerners", we learned this Friday from a judicial source , confirming information from BFMTV.

“At this stage there is no indication that the attack specifically targeted Acted, although it cannot be completely excluded either. On the other hand, it is an attack which seems to have been premeditated to target a priori rather Westerners ”, declared this source.

In France, Prime Minister Jean Castex will chair this Friday at Orly airport a national ceremony to pay tribute to the six French humanitarian workers killed on Sunday in Niger, in the presence of families. Along with their Nigerien driver and tour guide, they were targeted by an attack.
