The 55-year-old man has been missing for almost three weeks. Shortly after the disappearance, two men in their 20s, suspected of kidnapping, were arrested and detained.

They have always denied having anything to do with the disappearance, but the prosecutor believes that the evidence is so strong that the men should continue to be detained. Among other things, the police have found traces of blood from the missing man in an apartment and in the boat that the two suspects bought just before the disappearance.

Today, remand negotiations are being held against the two men.

- We do not allow extended prosecution time. My client denies any wrongdoing, otherwise I do not comment on anything in the investigation, says Karl Hamstedt, defense lawyer for one of the suspects.

The other suspect also wants to be released. The negotiations will be held on Friday afternoon.
