Alexander Rudakov has been appointed to the post of Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Lebanon.
The corresponding decree was published on the official portal of legal information.
The president also signed a decree dismissing Alexander Zasypkin from this post.
Earlier it was reported that representatives of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the leadership of the Civil Defense and Emergencies of Lebanon signed an act on the completion of the work of Russian rescuers and doctors at the scene of the explosion in Beirut.
