“As for business, there is a proposal to extend the reduced electricity tariffs until 2028. But at the same time, we are introducing additional mechanisms that will allow better and more accurate consideration of the interests of consumers. Energy tariffs will remain unchanged for small and medium-sized businesses. For consumers who work in the ASEZ and the Free Port of Vladivostok, as well as in other territories, the list of which, respectively, will later be approved by the Russian government, "Mishustin said during a meeting dedicated to the development of the Far East's electric power industry.

Speaking about the “other” consumers, he noted that “the law provides for them the terms during which the tariffs for electricity will be gradually brought to the level of economically justified,” the prime minister said.

According to him, the corresponding bill has been prepared,

“Here I asked the Ministry of Energy before September 1, respectively, to submit it to the government for consideration,” he added.

In 2017, for Yakutia, Chukotka, Kamchatka Territory, Magadan and Sakhalin regions in 2017, a mechanism was introduced to equalize electricity tariffs with the average Russian ones.

The corresponding mechanism is valid until the end of 2020 and applies to all consumers, except for the population, whose tariffs are always lower.

Earlier, Mishustin, during a working trip to the Kamchatka Territory, visited the Fishing collective farm named after I. Lenin, where he got acquainted with new fishing vessels and examined a modern fish processing plant, which is planned to be launched in September.
