According to Danish TV2, the decision will not take effect until the availability of mouth guards is secured in the country.

Increase in corona cases

Denmark has recently noted an increase in the number of covid-19 infected in several parts of the country. Ringsted and Aarhus in particular have been affected, where a local decision has been made on the requirement to wear a mouth guard in public transport in Aarhus.

Denmark is one of the countries that has had a restrictive approach to mouth protection during the pandemic.
