President Moon Jae-in said today (14th) regarding the Japanese military comfort women victim problem, "The government will find a solution that grandmothers can accept until the (damaged) grandmothers say it's okay." 

President Moon sent a video congratulatory speech at the'Commemorative Day for Japanese Military Comfort Women Victims' held at the National Manghyangui Garden in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, one day before the 75th anniversary of Liberation Day. President Moon stressed that "the most important principle of problem solving is victim-centeredness."

President Moon said, "Grandmothers have practiced the values ​​of women's rights and peace as living witnesses of history," and said, "We deeply respect the lives of grandmothers who instill new values ​​in society as human rights activists beyond victims."

"The government will do its best to come up with feasible measures so that the courage and dedication of the grandmothers will be rewarded by restoring dignity and honor." 

President Moon said, "Grandmothers have presented a new direction for solving the comfort women problem. They said that the future generations of both Korea and Japan should make a plan to move toward peace and human rights." I will take it deep in my heart." 

President Moon said, "I am always worried about the health of my grandmothers. I will look carefully to ensure that the seventeen surviving grandmothers enjoy a stable life," said President Moon. "I emphasized it again and again.
