US President Donald Trump announced today that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed have agreed to a full normalization of relations between them, while the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi said that the contact between him and Trump and Netanyahu led to the suspension of Israel's annexation of the Palestinian territories.

Trump said that the agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the UAE is a "historic peace agreement," adding that the ceremony for the normalization agreement will be signed at the White House within a few weeks.

He added that the agreement came during a phone call he collected with the Israeli Prime Minister and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Trump called on Islamic countries to normalize their relations with Israel.

The US President stated that the agreement between Israel and the UAE would be known as the "Abraham Agreement," and said that he wanted to give his name to the agreement, "but the press will not accept that."

The White House stated that officials from the UAE and Israel would meet in the coming weeks to sign the agreement, adding that the normalization agreement would include security issues, investments, exchange of embassies, tourism, technology and other issues.

The US President said that Israel had agreed to stop its plans to annex land in the West Bank, and Netanyahu also described the normalization of relations with the UAE on the historic day.
