"35 reconnaissance aircraft from other states conducted aerial reconnaissance along the borders of the Russian Federation and were accompanied by Russian radar stations," the newspaper said.
Also 11 unmanned aerial vehicles were approaching the borders.
Russian fighters from the air defense on-duty forces rose to intercept six times. There were no violations of Russian airspace.
Earlier it was reported that the MiG-31BM fighter was raised to intercept an American aircraft approaching the Russian border over the Barents Sea.
