It was on Wednesday afternoon, July 22, that four cyclists were hit in Färjestaden, a boy under 15 and a woman in her 45s died. Shortly before, the driver was also close to driving on several other people.

The next piece of the puzzle in the investigation of the accident is to examine the car. The boxes with the car's driving data will be analyzed - but at the moment the investigators do not know who to turn to. And until you figure it out, you will not proceed with the technical investigation.

"We are investigating where they should be sent, whether they should go to the general agent or to the manufacturer," says prosecutor Kjell Jannesson.

Unusual car

The crux - according to Kjell Jannesson - is that it is not an ordinary car.

- It is a slightly unusual car, it is American but made in Europe. This is not an ordinary Volvo, says prosecutor Kjell Jannesson.

He believes that it may take time to get an answer on how fast the car was driving when the fatal accident occurred.

- We will not get an answer in a month in any case.

Do not remember the accident

Meanwhile, the investigation continues. The 55-year-old man who is suspected of causing the accident has been questioned again. Kjell Jannesson does not want to go into exactly what came out in the interrogation, but the man maintains that he does not remember anything from the accident itself.

He is still suspected of the crimes he was arrested for, gross negligence in traffic, aggravated causing another person's death in two cases, aggravated causing bodily injury and causing danger to another in five cases.

Several interrogations of witnesses have also been held.

A total of six plaintiffs

Everyone who was close to getting into trouble during the day of the accident has now been given a plaintiff's assistant, a total of six people.

Kjell Jannesson can not answer at present when it may be relevant to bring charges.
