- I would have liked us to be able to make solid advice regarding congestion, but it is not possible to define because it is not possible to comply everywhere. Then it is not worthwhile to set some kind of definition, says Helena Leufstadius, CEO of Swedish Public Transport.

Skånetrafiken welcomes

At Skånetrafiken, traffic director Linus Eriksson is satisfied with the announcement.

- I think it is good what has been said today. We can not decide who has the right to go. We are a public transport and we assume that those who have to go are those who go with us now. You need to get to work, you need to get to school for this society to work, he says.

As little as public transport's industry organization can define the concept of congestion, Skånetrafiken wants to go on to define what is a necessary journey.

- It is the individual's responsibility. It is just as if we enter the grocery store as when we board a bus, says Linus Eriksson.

Understanding among travelers

When SVT Nyheter talks to travelers, there is an awareness of the risk of infection by traveling by public transport.

Could you imagine refraining from going, when there are many on board?

- Yes I can. I do not want to risk myself. I have my family and my mother so I quit, says Wahed Abdul Zaher.
