Former Justice Minister Cho Kook and Future Integration Party Rep. Kim Woong are fighting openly over the reconstruction issue.

According to politics, the two unexpected'reconstruction workshops' began when Congressman Kim discussed the approval of the reconstruction of an apartment in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, owned and residing by former Minister Cho on the 11th.

Rep. Kim criticized on Facebook, "This heavy rain has caused 554 households in the Olympic Athlete's Village in Songpa-gu to leak damage. Even if they try to rebuild an old and dangerous apartment, all kinds of regulations are blocking it. The result is a massive blackout."

He said, "Did reconstruction raise the house price? The government is responsible for raising the house price, but why should the people take all responsibility?"

He added, "What is Professor Cho Kook if the people who are trying to rebuild are ruined?"

Rep. Kim, a homeless man, is currently living as a renter in an apartment in Songpa-gu, a district, and is known to have been a renter in Seocho-gu until he ran for general election.

Former Minister Cho responded on Facebook, saying, "I understand the intention to show you that you are collecting votes for the districts," and "The first lawmaker is already using the old-fashioned'noise marketing' technique."

He pointed out, "Rep. Kim Woong, who was nominated by the United Party in the last general election and ran for Songpa-gu, became a member of the National Assembly after thorough opposition to the reforms of the prosecution, including the adjustment of the power of investigation during the prosecution, suddenly attacked that the apartment in Seocho-dong where I live was approved for reconstruction."

He said, "I bought an old apartment built in 1981 and I bought it in 2003 and I have lived until now."

The apartment in Bangbae-dong, where Congressman Cho lives, was approved for reconstruction in May of last year.

He also emphasized that "As far as I know, the Moon Jae-in administration has never said'reconstruction = redemption', contrary to Congressman Kim's argument."
