Joe Biden puts his running mate Kamala Harris in orbit that curls Donald Trump

“ It's a great day for our campaign and a great day for America,  ” says Joe Biden. Kamala Harris is seated at a distance: "  we respect the rules  ", explains the Democratic candidate before praising the qualities of his running mate.

“ Kamala as you all know is smart, she is tough, she is experienced, she has proven that she fights for the backbone of this country, the middle class. Kamala knows how to govern, she knows how to make difficult phone calls, she is ready to rule from day one.  "

Then he gave the floor to Kamala Harris, whom he introduced as the future vice-president of the United States. "  I'm ready to get down to work right away,  " confirms the former attorney general of California before launching a real indictment against Donald Trump: "  We have a president who cares more about himself than people who elected him. A president who makes all the challenges we face even more difficult to overcome . "

Trump, "a guy not up to it"

She is developing on Covid-19 which has claimed tens of thousands of American lives for several months: "  This virus has affected almost all countries but there is a reason why the United States has been hit harder than any another developed nation: it's because Donald Trump refused to take him seriously from the start.  "And to continue his indictment:"  Trump is also the reason why millions of Americans are unemployed. He inherited the longest period of economic growth in history from Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and like everything he inherited, he directly demolished it. Because of Trump's lack of leadership, our economy is one of the hardest hit among industrialized nations. That's what happens when you elect a guy who does not live up to his mandate: our country ends up in tatters. Like our reputation around the world. But let's be clear: this election is not just about defeating Donald Trump or Mike Pence. It's about rebuilding our country, for the better. And that's exactly what Joe and I are going to do.  "

Kamala Harris also plays the emotional card by evoking his friendship with Beau Biden, the son who died in 2015 of the Democratic candidate. She talks about her own family and concludes: “  On November 3, we need more than a victory, we need a mandate that proves that these four years do not represent who we are. Electing Joe Biden is just the start of the work ahead.  "
