French world champion Blaise Matuidi has terminated his contract with Juventus Turin by mutual agreement after three seasons in Italy, the Italian club announced on Wednesday.

At 33, the former Paris SG midfielder still had a year's contract with Juve, who has just appointed ex-Italy star Andrea Pirlo as coach. Several media have indicated that Matuidi is preparing to join David Beckham's Inter Miami, a North American Championship club (MLS), within a year of Euro-2020, postponed to June 2021.
