Vote-by-mail has emerged as the biggest issue in the US presidential election amid the corona crisis. Out of 50 states, 42 states, 76% of all voters, can vote by mail, but we found that many voters prefer to vote by mail. However, even if some states arrive after the voting day, confusion is expected that if a postal stamp is stamped on the voting day, it will be recognized as the subject of counting.

U.S. voters who are burdened with going to the polls because of Corona 19, prefer to vote by mail.

[Yaya/US voter: Vote-by-mail is particularly recommended for the Corona Pandemic. I think it's really safe and very reliable.]

[American Voter: I'm especially afraid to get in close contact with people to vote now. Voting by mail is the perfect choice.]

President Trump argues that voting by mail can lead to large-scale fraudulent elections.

However, so far only a very small number of votes have been denied, either in duplicate or voting on behalf of a deceased person.

The problem is the US's lagging postal system.

In many cases, delivery stops and items cannot be received.

[James Mayo/Mail Service User: I haven't brought my mail for 6 days in the last 4 weeks. That means the post office doesn't take the mail or deliver it. This is a problem.]

In the 2016 presidential election, more than 33 million U.S. voters voted by mail, and more than 73,000 votes that arrived past the counting deadline eventually became invalid.

The federal post office, suffering from chronic deficit, was unable to properly expand the budget, making it more difficult to deliver faster.

[Trump/ President (last 3 days): The post office equipment is very old. I don't think the post office is ready to vote by mail. It's going to be a mess because we don't know who won the state.]

There are also concerns that the delay in counting votes by mail will lead to a chaos in which no winners can be confirmed for a while.
