In his appeal, the legislator noted that parents with many children, engaged in raising three or more children, bear a colossal burden. At the same time, according to labor legislation, if they are not included in a certain category of specialists, they can count on paid leave of only 28 days.
“In this regard, I ask you to consider the possibility of amending the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, in terms of providing citizens with three or more children under the age of 18 with an annual basic paid leave of 35 days. Citizens will be able to devote these additional days to both personal rest and activities with children, ”the text of the appeal says.
Earlier, the chairman of the National Parents' Committee, a member of the Public Chamber of Russia, Irina Volynets, sent an appeal to the government with a proposal to increase discounts on utility bills for large families.
