“In room number three, an Ikea bag was found on the floor, inside it was a black plastic bag wrapped with electrical tape,” Moskovsky Komsomolets quoted the prosecutor as saying.

A human head was found in it. In addition, a TOZ-17-01 sawn-off shotgun with a 5.6 mm sleeve, cartridges, a saw and an ax were found.

The belongings of the murdered girl were also found there, including a student ID, a postgraduate certificate and jewelry with traces of blood thrown into the trash can.

In mid-July, during a court session, the investigator said that during a search in Sokolov's apartment, almost 500 cartridges were found.

According to the investigation, on November 7, 2019, Sokolov shot Yeshchenko, and on the night of November 9, he decided to get rid of the body and dismembered it, after which he tried to drown the remains in the Moika River.
