Rescue service Dala Mitt was alerted at 7 pm to a switchgear Grycksbo. Once at the site, the switchgear burned with open flames. The rescue work is still ongoing.
- It is still burning with open flames and is now starting to affect the paper mill, which is going out piece by piece, says Johan Wahrén, internal commander of the Rescue Service Dala-Mitt just before 20:00.
Half an hour later, another alarm came, this time about a fire in the switchgear at the mining area in Falun. The rescue work is ongoing.
- But there we have better control, no open flames and an electrician is on his way.
During the evening there has been thunder in the area, the fires have probably been caused by lightning.
