Between weeks 31 and 32, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Kronoberg County doubled. In week 32, about 70 new cases were found and just over half of them were young people aged 20-25.

A new academic year at Linnaeus University will soon begin, and Rector Peter Aronsson is worried about the information that the infection is increasing among young people.

At the same time, he believes that the situation is different now than last spring because everyone can test themselves and he hopes that everyone who feels sick stays at home and also does a test to prevent spread at the university.

In the clip above, the rector tells what Linnaeus University does if the infection were to spread among students.
