The Norwegian government announced on Wednesday that they have red-listed another six Swedish regions, including Uppsala, Östergötland and Dalarna. Residents from these regions will be quarantined for ten days before entering Norway and the reason is that these regions have had over 20 new confirmed infected corona falls per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks. They thus follow the Norwegian Institute of Public Health's (FHI) recommendation which came on Monday.

Only three regions are allowed to travel without quarantine

Anna Gillman, assistant infection control doctor in Uppsala, has no views on how Norway interprets the infection situation in the outside world, but does not see it as a warning signal that Uppsala ends up on the "red list".

- It looks pretty good here compared to what the epidemic curve looked like before. It is rippling at an incredibly much lower level than it has done before. Overall, we are satisfied, Anna Gillman, assistant infection control doctor at the Uppsala Region, has previously told SVT Uppsala.

Twelve regions are already red-listed by the Norwegian government, and only residents from Södermanland, Kalmar and Västerbotten can enter Norway without being quarantined.
