Former Vice President Joe Biden, the US Democratic presidential candidate, has nominated a black woman, Senator Camela Harris, as vice president for the November presidential election. This is the first time a black woman has been nominated for vice president in the US presidential election.

tweet, former Vice President Biden, the US Democratic presidential candidate, said in a tweet that he had chosen Senator Harris as a running mate.

Former Vice President Biden evaluated Congressman Harris as a fearless warrior and one of the best public officials.

Senator Harris, 55, is a black woman born to a Jamaican immigrant father and an Indian mother.

This is the first time a black woman has been nominated for vice president in the US presidential election.

While serving as a federal prosecutor, Harris served as the prosecutor general of the state of California during the Obama administration, and was elected to the California Senate in 2016.

Congressman Harris declared his support for former Vice President Biden after running for the Democratic Party and resigning.

As the Democratic Party's vice presidential candidates have been cited as strong candidates for black women, including Congressman Harris and former aide Rice, expectations for the first black female vice president in history have continued.

In particular, after the death of Floyd, demands for the appointment of a black vice president have spread both inside and outside the party.

In a tweet, Congressman Harris said it was an honor to be nominated for vice president, and said he would unite the American people with former vice president Biden.

Former Vice President Biden and Congressman Harris are set to embark on a joint campaign tomorrow (13th) in Wilmington, Delaware, with a joint speech.
