In the video posted by the TUT.by portal on her Telegram channel, she noted that she had made the appropriate decision “absolutely independently”.

“I made a very difficult decision for myself, this decision I made absolutely on my own,” she said.

According to her, neither friends, nor relatives, nor the headquarters, nor her husband could influence this decision.

"People take care of yourself, please, no life is worth what is happening now," she added, noting that children "are the most important thing in life."

Earlier, the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry Linas Linkevicius said that Tihanovskaya was in Lithuania. Later, the State Border Committee of Belarus confirmed the departure of the politician to Lithuania.
