The injured man, who is in his 30s, was found outside Fellingsbro, just before 5 o'clock on Monday morning. He is said to have had an injury in one arm and was taken to hospital by ambulance, but was not life-threateningly injured. The police do not want to state what type of damage it is.
- This case is being investigated in Örebro, that is all I can say at the moment, says Stefan Wickberg, press spokesperson at the police region Bergslagen.
It has not yet been clarified where the crime scene itself is, or what it is that makes the police suspect attempted murder.
- It is the circumstances surrounding the incident that make us arrive at the criminal classification, says Wickberg.
There is currently no suspect or detainee in the case, which is therefore classified as attempted murder.
