He was arrested by a crew of the Toulouse anti-crime brigade, just after the discovery of a new start of fire, Monday at 5 am, in the underground parking of the Capitol. A 35-year-old man was referred to the prosecution on Tuesday for an immediate appearance for willful damage.
While the suspect was in custody, investigators from the property crime repression brigade (Brab) questioned him about two other fires that have occurred since the beginning of the month, one in the Capitol parking lot already, the another in that of Saint-Georges. The man, already condemned because of his pyromania, from a police source, recognized the three disasters.
The thirty-something, especially betrayed by video surveillance, obeys a ritual: he sets fire to papers and runs away when the parking lot alarm sounds.
